Must Have. 7 Things Every Londoner Needs In Their Wardrobe

Being a Londoner means being prepared for anything. A business meeting across town. A torrential downpour. A last minute Friday-night date. A pack-up and go, jet-set weekend.

The eventualities in this city are endless. Living here I've learnt that you never know what a day may hold. That's why it's so important to have these 7 little items in your wardrobe...


The Knit | Chunky but still sophisticated, it needs to be warm AND stylish. Ready for work to weekends.

The Bag | You're not a true Londoner without some form of designer handbag. Right now the Chloe Drew is the item of choice.

The Dress | Forget black for now, in a city with this many grey skies you need some colour for a special occasion.

The Trench | It has to be Burberry. What else even comes close?

The Boots | Over the knee is the way to wear them. Pair with chic minis or skinny denim.

The Jeans | Skinny and dark-washed is the way to do it. Ready for date night drinks or Sunday shopping.

The Umbrella | Obviously an essential in a drizzly city. A hint of designer charm never goes astray.

Having grown up living on a lake, I guess you could say I'm very used to all manner of wildlife. A bit of a bird watcher if you will. As a child I fed the ducks and watched swans hatch eggs in my backyard with wonder; amazed at how a fluffy, squeaky little grey thing could transform into a great majestic bird. London's not short of wildlife either and when I took some crumbs to Hyde Park the other week, they all came a flocking. Literally. I could hear David Attenborough's iconic voice narrating the whole thing. We were blessed with some magical clear skies that day; shooting in the sunshine is always a treat. Suitcase. Party In The USA - Vegas

Cha-ching. Vegas. It’s safe to say I was pretty excited for this final leg of the trip because I’d not been to Vegas before. We decided to road trip it from LA to Nevada where we saw some pretty incredible desert scenery along the way but nothing compared to when we drove up over a rise and first laid eyes on the mirage-like sparkling city that literally lies in the middle of nowhere. Incredible. We drove in down the strip, past the iconic Vegas sign and every other glittering one along the way. The Cosmopolitan was our home for the week and can I just say wow. Check out my room. How could I resist taking a mirror selfie?... This dress is my new fave, I love khaki for blondes. Unfortunately this style is sold out now but there's a few other styles in the same shade here  (so feminine!), here  (a total steal) and here  (for a hint of military!) Suitcase. Tegernsee, Germany - Travel Guide

I take great pleasure from visiting destinations that are a little more under the radar. Sure big capitals like Paris and Barcelona have their drawcards, but there's something majestic and quaint about visiting a smaller town for a few days. Living a local way of life.    Tegernsee is a storybook little town in the Bavarian region of Germany. It's somewhere I've long wanted to visit - my mum was here in the '80s and has often spoken of its magic and charm. Last week, I arrived. I checked into my jaw-dropping home for the next few days - Das Tegernsee and set up camp in my beautiful suite overlooking the lake; complete with balcony, shower large enough to host a party and bath tub with lookout. Whilst spring had arrived there was certainly still plenty of evidence of winter with bare trees, brisk air and snow-covered ground.
